Butterfly Birthday

I bought a new stamp the other day; I've had my eye on this butterfly stamp by Hero Arts for a long time and I finally added it to my stamp collection.  And, it just so happens that Hero Arts is having a birthday challenge this month.  What better way to use this pretty stamp than on a birthday card. You can check out the challenge HERE!

Here's my card for the challenge:

I can't wait to put this pretty stamp to paper again, as a matter of fact I'm going to do that right after I'm done with this post :)

Thanks for stopping by today!

Love Birds in the Clouds

I am playing for the first time in the challenge at A Day for Daisies.  If you aren't familiar with the beautiful digital images at A day for daisies you must head over there right now and check them out.

Tammy provides a free image for each challenge; I thought this image of the 2 love birds was so sweet I had to use it for my card:

I added some vellum clouds, 2 gems, designed paper and a red glittered heart and this sweet image has come to life.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  If you're like me, enjoy that cup of tea :)

Pink is such a pretty, girly color in all it's fabulous shades, isn't it? I am entering this card into 2 challenges this week.  The first challenge is over at the Die Cut Divas blog called Girls Night Out.  The second challenge is over at The Card Concept  called Monochromatic Pink, here is the inspiration photo for this challenge:

And, here's my card:

I'm not sure what my style is, but I like to use designed papers and doo-dads on my cards.  In looking at the styles represented by the DT I thought this card fit "clean & layered" although I'm not sure about that.

Anyway, I'm happy with my card and am happy if I've inspired you.

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a PINK day :)
